Cascade knew it had to move the football and stop Durant’s powerful rushing attack to pick up a win in week two of the 2022 season. Things went according to plan for a half, before the Wildcats erased a 13-0 halftime deficit to pin a 26-13 loss on the Cougars, in Durant, Sept. 2.

“For the second week in a row, we played a good first half and quarter, but this week not being able to finish in the fourth quarter cost us a victory,” said coach Tim Frake. “We will learn from this and keep working to get better as district play gets closer.”
