National Night Out is being celebrated in Cascade Wednesday, Aug. 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Riverview Park. I hope you have plans to attend and join in this community-building event. Many of our local businesses and organizations are putting a lot of effort into making this family-friendly evening an enjoyable event for everyone.
Cascade Heart and Soul will be there. Please stop by to find out what we are hearing from Cascade residents. We would like your thoughts too —what do you like about Cascade and/or what do we need to do to improve Cascade? Everyone’s voice counts toward our mission of inclusion. To further entice you, anyone who completes a survey either in person or online will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
National Night Out is an effort to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood solidarity to make neighborhoods safer and better places to live. Cascade Heart and Soul has been interviewing Cascade residents to determine common positives about our community and also areas where improvement is needed. One response we often hear is the desire for more activities and events to bring people together.
What better event is there than a National Night Out?
