I Know Jack Foundation guest bartends

The I Know Jack Foundation guest bartended at the Corner Taproom, Nov. 19, to raise money for cancer patients. The foundation is named after Cascade native Jack Hoeger who was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer when he was 5 years old. He miraculously survived and beat cancer despite having no existing treatments or protocols. Hoeger’s family started the I Know Jack Foundation to help other cancer patients and support them in their journeys. For the second year in what they hope to be an annual event, the foundation partnered with Michelle Hosch of MH Entertainment and Corner Taproom Manager Zach Nothdorf to host a guest bartending event during the Iowa Hawkeyes football game. All tips raised by the volunteer bartenders went to the foundation, as well as funds from the foundation’s raffle, backpack and book sales.
