Western Dubuque’s girls soccer team fell to 3-10 after suffering a trio of losses to Cedar Rapids Xavier at home, May 10 and to St. Albert and Grundy Center/Gladbrook-Reinbeck at the Waverly-Shell Rock Tournament, May 11.

In the former competition, the Bobcats fell, 10-1, to Xavier (8-4). Brielle Bastian, Sarah Cunningham and Mary Kate Moeder all paced the winning team with two goals each.

Against St. Albert (10-5) the next day, Western Dubuque lost, 6-1, thanks in part to Ellerie Tarbox’s big outing, which included a hat trick and an assist.

In the game against Gundy Center/Gladbrook-Reinbeck (10-4), Jacque Kuester and Abby Hamann each put forth a pair of goals apiece to pace the Rebels past the Bobcats, 5-0.

Through 13 games, Western Dubuque is led by Lexi Banks with six goals. Faith Bower and Skylar Dolphin have a pair of goals and three assists each. Leah Digmann has a trio of goals, while Alisa Marin and Sayde Lyons have both scored twice.
