The Cascade Cougar girls golf squad lost on the road at North Cedar last week, with the hosts defeating them 209-251, April 29.
“We just had the one meet last week as the other two we had scheduled were canceled,” head coach Jeff Morreim said. “We saw pretty consistent performances from week to week. Sam Frasher shot her best round of the year.”
Frasher did indeed shoot well, leading the way for Cascade with a 57. Emily Conlin shot a 60 for second on the team, followed by Ava Morreim (62) and Kate Manternach (72).
North Cedar swept the top spots with Parker Stout (49) taking medalist honors and Lydia Esbaum (52), Carly Meier (52) and Kate Jackson (56) also factoring into their team tally.
