Madonna C. “Donna” Faber, 60, of Dubuque, formerly of Cascade, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at 6:50 a.m. at Sunnycrest Manor in Dubuque.

Friends and relatives of Donna may call from 4-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, where a wake service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friends may also call after 9 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home in Cascade.

Services for Donna will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Cascade, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke presiding. Mass servers will be Brock Marbach, Paige Demmer and Carter Demmer. Lectors will be Laina Marbach, Lynn Besler and Amanda Baumhover. Placing of the Pall will be done by Eileen Ries, Marie Steinlage, Joan Demmer, Theresa Hoffmann, Loras Faber and Bob Faber. Giftbearers will be Joan Demmer and Bob Faber. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade.

Casketbearers will be Jim Ries, Shamus Hoffmann, Russ Demmer, Tom Marbach, Ryan Demmer, Brian Ries, Rob Baumhover and Rob Faber.

She was born June 28, 1958 in Dubuque, daughter of John and Ida (Manternach) Faber. She received her education from Western Dubuque Schools. Donna had a bubbly personality and loved to dance and joke around with others. She also enjoyed coloring and painting.

She was a member of St. Matthias Parish in Cascade.

She is survived by four sisters, Eileen (Ed) Ries, of Hopkinton, Marie (Ray) Steinlage, of Worthington, Joan (Wayne) Demmer, of Epworth and Theresa (Gary) Hoffmann, of Worthington; two brothers, Loras (Sandy) Faber, of Monticello and Bob (Karen) Faber, of Delhi; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Faber in infancy; brother-in-law, John Greiner.

In lieu of flowers a Madonna C. Faber memorial fund has been established.
