Heart & Soul music and food event June 19
Every community has a personality that distinguishes itself from others. That personality comes from the people that live in it. For the past year Cascade Heart & Soul has been reaching out to residents conducting interviews with people of all ages, genders, ethnicities, occupations and income levels to find common essentials of the community. They hope to build on these comments to make Cascade a better place to live. Join them Wednesday, June 19, from 6-8 p.m. when they host a family-friendly night of music and food at Riverview Park.
Jules Renato, a singer-songwriter from Montreal, Canada, will be providing free music from her “A New Sound for this Small Town” tour. Adobos will have a food truck with food for sale, and Koppes Kreations will have free desserts for all to enjoy. Please bring your own beverages, chairs and blankets. At the event there will be an opportunity to view some of the stories Heart & Soul has gathered, and they hope you will be inspired to share your stories about what makes Cascade a special small town. Come to Riverview Park to enjoy the music, fun, and community while helping write Cascade’s song.
